At The Warehouse

Yep….it’s true!  We now have a warehouse facility!  What a relief for Heather, Ms. R, and myself.  We can finally move our mess out of our homes and on to someplace where we can be organized and just as messy as we please.

There’s our sign going up.  Courtesy of our guys.

We are hoping to get at least a little bit of stock built up…..

This vintage buffet is still available.  Maybe destined for The Rink?  Not my cup of tea with all of the color.  But the girls here in Oklahoma LOVE love their bright colors!

Cute side table with hand painted flower.  Still available.  We’re barely staying ahead of the game.  What a GREAT problem to have!

And…..we always have a first class guard dog on duty.  This “aint” no second class operation, ya know! Smile

Can’t wait to show you what’s happening in our cute little office area.  This is an ongoing project, making this place our own.  It was previously a wrecker service so the black grease is everywhere.   And not so easy to rid ourselves of.

Have a happy week!

Fun Flowers!

One of my all time favorite web sites is Green Wedding Shoes.  You don’t have to be planning a wedding to enjoy some of the wonderful ideas on this web site!

These giant flowers are just the cutest idea I’ve seen in awhile.

I think these could be used for just about any type of party.  In fact, I wouldn’t mind  making them just for fun!

You can find the tutorial HERE.

Check out this site.  We guarantee you’ll love it!

Spring Vignettes

Just a few splashes of Spring here and there at home.

home1

That tiny yellow pitcher is one of my favorite pieces.  Can you see the even tinier brown pitcher hanging from the handle ?

home4

This urn had been hiding in a closet for several years.  I painted it a happy blue (chalk paint of course)  and filled it with some favorite goodies.

home3

I found two wonderful pieces at the Rink this last week.  I usually pass up the hob nail glass because of the price, but this pretty turquoise piece was actually very affordable.  The bottom piece is…..more milk glass of course!

home7

I had no idea how I was going to display them once I got them home, but I’m very happy with they way they look.  It’s almost like they were meant to be tiered one on top of the other.

home5

Finally, I had one of those ugly blonde baskets that I hated but the shape was perfect.  I diluted my French Linen chalk paint and painted the basket then added a French advertising graphic from the Graphic Fairy.  Love it on top of this display piece. Now if I could just find the time and energy to get rid of that harlequin  wall.  It’s time for a change in the kitchen and dining areas!

Hope you have a happy week!

Happy Easter!

We hope that everyone has a wonderful and blessed Easter weekend!

Here is the extent of the decorating at my house.

A couple of happy little yellow chicks.  Mixed in with the pups.

Heather found this oh so cute bright yellow leaf dish at a junk store a couple of weeks ago.  I think maybe she intended to sell it, but I snagged it for my little shelf.  Now if I just had three more……..wouldn’t they look cheerful mixed in with almost any dishes?

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!
