My Halloween Mantel

Halloween is almost here and I haven’t even shared all of my décor with you!  I wanted everyone to at least see my family room mantel.

You can’t go wrong with you Halloween décor when you start with mostly black and white.

Nothing new this year, just some old favorites.  Like my skeleton and owl.

I use a battery operated tea light in my votive holder.  It looks just a little bit magic when it’s on!

Then there’s my favorite silver glittered skellie.  One of those ultimate bargains that Heather found after Halloween a few years ago.  Notice the book title to the left.  Appropriate for the season!

Finally, a good look at my black/white/grey rag wreath.

A look at Heather’s front porch décor.  LOVE the old cart.  For those of you who live in the OKC area, it came from Horn’s Seed Co. after they closed.   Heather bought it from another junker who (literally) went dumpster diving behind the store after it closed.  Darn it!  I wish it had been us!  When it comes to good junk, there are no rules….or dignity!  Smile

  2. Your mantle has such a great collection up there! And that cart - Heather scored big time. You're right, there's NO dignity sometimes when "treasure hunting." But junking is so worth it. XO

  3. That Halloween mantel is one to be remembered! Hi, I am Mona Duffy and one cannot meet a Duffy without wondering if they are a relation. :) However..I live in California..my husbands name was Patrick Duffy and his brother was John Duffy..both of San Diego.
Great Halloween treasures here..I really think looking at our blogs is better than a high priced magazine! :)
