My Christmas decorating ran almost as late as this post this year. A long long story, but things have been crazy around here. So…..in the interest of keeping it simple and uncomplicated, all of the vintage ornaments came out and now adorn much of the living room. Other boxes of goodies weren’t even opened. I guess that will make it exciting next year, kind of like opening gifts!
I did a very simple four foot tree this year.
The beauty of this tree, is that every single ornament and every strand of beads, are vintage!
The tree is decorated in all of Heather’s vintage collection. She’s been collecting these for years and they are so beautiful! The silver garland came from Target a few years ago. It has a tarnished vintage look.
My desk features my collection of vintage trees. With a few newer vintage inspired trees mixed in. The bowl under the cloche is filled with all vintage.
My four foot Santos received the “royal” treatment!
To the right of her are a few simple decorations.
And other vignettes around the room
Tomorrow (hopefully) the dining room. It is neutral and simple and my FAVORITE this year!

Love seeing your stuff! I'm running super late too. I just finished the tree tonight and mantel...went to take photos and was out of batteries. So it will be tomorrow before I do a photo shoot. Love all your vintage things. That is my kind of Christmas too.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, Denise! I hope you can sit back now and enjoy it all. I wrapped the last of my gifts yesterday as soon as they were dropped off.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Denise! I hope you can now relax and take it all in.
