Hummmm…….it looks like the guests are already arriving! It promises to be a lot of fun!

I found the PERFECT costume! A vintage dress that once belonged to my Nanny! Too bad it’s about a size 0!
Aahhh well……what I can’t wear, another can! She said it was “puuurrrfect”

Wonderful treasures continue to find their way home with me.
Wonderful old books. Perfectly tattered and water stained.
Vintage photos and beautiful old jewelry.
Old medals and watches.
Sweet little hankies and such from my mother’s youth.
Every time that I think I’ve surely found all of the surprises that are to be found, something else surfaces. Like the beautiful black dress above. I didn’t even know that it still existed. I remember playing dress up in it when I was a child! It is in PERFECT condition. Which is surprising considering I found it in a hall cabinet wadded up underneath a bunch of other stuff. I don’t know enough about clothing to date it for certain, but I’m guessing probably the 1930’s?
Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. It is chilly chilly here. Which I kinda like!
