Happy New Year!

This year has had its ups and downs for our family, but there is one thing that has been a consistently “Wonderful Ride” for me…….and that is blogging! 

I started this blog on Tuesday, March 10th 2009 and it has been a source of joy and inspiration for me ever since.

All of that is due to you, my fellow bloggers and to those who do not blog but are kind enough to follow my blog.

Every comment that you have made I read at LEAST once if not more.  Every person who decides to follows my blog is appreciated very much.  Both of these things are what inspire me to try my best to provide everyone with interesting photos and (at least) tolerable reading!

I always try to respond to every comment.  I sincerely hope that I have never missed anyone!

What I KNOW that I have been totally and completely lax in, is responding to those of you who have been kind enough to bestow wonderful awards upon me.  I am ashamed of myself for not having followed through on a single one.  It’s not that they were not appreciated or that I was not proud of each and every one of them!  Believe me, I AM!  But….I am just a HUGE procrastinator and am always going to “get to that tomorrow.”  I am so so sorry!

So…….for this reason, I am going to make my blog an award free zone.  I am just not deserving and there are other people who would be thrilled to receive your praise.  :(  that’s me hanging my head in shame! :(

My hope is that 2010 brings wonderful things for everyone, great new inspiration and happiness for all of my blogging friends, and lots and lots of new blogging friends to share all of our adventures with!

To my friends and fellow bloggers who are facing rough and trying times this coming year, I promise you that you are in my thoughts and prayers……..every day.  You WILL endure!

And now I HAVE to go….I have a VERY impatient 11 year old waiting on me to play “Halo 3”  with him!  JEZ!!

    Thank you so much for taking the time writing and taking beautiful photos for your blog.

    I don't know if you remember but this past summer I was so worried about surgery my husband needed for a ruptured cervical disc. You offered prayers for us. Our prayers were answered! He's been recovering remarkably well. There are so many people that suffer with this condition due to the location of the rupture they aren't able to have the surgery. Thank you so much for your prayers!

    This has been a rough year for you and your family, through it all you've been there with your wonderful humor. I know it's been tough..you've been in my prayers too.

    Happy New Year! Oh I have to add I LOVE your daughter's home. I hint,hint, look so forward of more photos of her home in 2010 ....and that cutie grandson is a crackup too.

    Hi Denise, I so relate to your not being consistent with blogging and saying thankyou for gifts people have given you. I havent recieved any gifts but Im a procrastinator like you. I am not consistant with blogging. I just put up pics of my xmas decor..and kind of disappointed that they dont look like yours and some of the bloggers that I visit. Just wanted to say hi..now I will go back to see what more you have posted. Sally

    That snowman is adorable! I am a huge procrastinator too which is why, although I do Pink Saturday and White Wednesday, I haven't officially joined the groups. I hate being obligated to anyone or anything. This blogging experience certainly has been an inspiring one. My cousin really had to talk me into it and I was resistant at first, but I am so glad I finally let her talk me into taking the plunge. She told me to give it a month and if I didn't like it, I could quit. That was 6 months ago -- and now I'm hooked! Wishing you all the best for the New Year.     What a gift your friendship has been! I never thought that blogging would be such a wonderful experience as this. If I had known, I'm sure I would have started earlier. You have been an inspiration to me with your strength of character through some difficult times, and through your wonderful creativity that you share in your lovely space here.     No need to apologize....I think we all feel like we fall short at blogging at times. None of us want get into this to hurt anyones feelings. I treasure your friendship and if life gets in the way sometimes and you can't respond it's ok.
    Your photos and your wonderful and funny text is what keeps me coming back. You don't put on airs and that's what I love about you!

    I just found out that Hubby has to work in OKC & I would have loved to come up to visit or meet you. I told you at the Christmas Event that he works up there a lot but, I have to work during the same time he is there. DARN! Maybe sometime when I come up we could meet for lunch!
