New From Heather

I finally remembered to have Heather e-mail me some of her new furniture designs that she has been working on.

A new Bombay chest.  This piece can be seen at Room 22.  At least, it was still in their window as of yesterday.  By the way, several people asked where Room 22 is located and I never did get back with you.  More of my tendency to procrastinate.  They are in North Park Mall at N.W. 122nd and May Ave. in OKC.

This cute vintage buffet.  It is going in the window of a florist shop, so they wanted bright so that it would be an eye catcher from the street.

A chest for a little girls room.

Mirror.  Also at Room 22.

Buffet and damask table.  Also going to the florist shop for their wedding room.  And girls, that damask is hand painted.  Every inch.  No stencils here!  I would be ready to pull my hair out.  Not to mention that it would look terrible!

This piece is going in a baby girls room.  Looks like Mom is all ready for her arrival!  Again, completely hand painted!

I hope those of you who are snowed in are finding something to occupy your time.  Thank goodness for blogs!

Have a wonderful evening!

Denise

  1. Oh my gosh I am always so excited to see Heather's stuff. I discovered her Lucky Peach pieces when I was first learning about this whole blog world thing and your site and hers were two of the first I bookmarked. Then I learned about subscribing. I've come a long ways in two years but wow there is so much out here I am still stumbling through. Thanks for posting these pictures. Because I also do painted furniture that is a bit edgy I like to see what she is doing too. Thanks again, Pam

  8. Very, very nice! The handpainted damask table is amazing! They are all beautiful but that and the piece that is going into a baby girls room are my favorites.

  9. Wow, beautiful. I was just looking at your old blog (I had it saved) and just wanted to tell you how much I love your studio. I have one on my property too and understand what you mean about not wanting it too far from home and feeling disconnected. Yours is so artistically done. Mine is never big enough, I am always rearranging but that is fun too. I love the bed in yours. I wouldn't have gotten rid of it either. Have fun!
