I have been on a creative rampage! Which is a good thing. A REALLY good thing!
Heather and I are trying to build our inventory at the Rink into more of a mixture of the things that we love. Shabby, chippy, vintage and then mix in a little color and whimsy.
Here’s what we’ve been up to…….
Can’t remember if I have shown you this piece. I think it would be perfect in an entry or a little nook somewhere. Lots of great storage space too! Painted by Heather of course.
This wonderful coffee table is another fairly new piece. You would have to see the turquoise top to appreciate it! It has a wonderful texture to it.
She has also been painting some wonderful whimsical canvases. These are perfect for little girls rooms and the prices are very reasonable.
I’ve been sewing.
I love this table runner that I made. The big ruffles on either end really hang beautifully on your table.
More canvases in neutral with numbers. And I just realized that I forgot to take a picture of my favorite pillow.
This pillow is a Euro sized. Down filled in chocolates and blues. It was previously in my guest room but it’s time for it to find a new loving home! It’s companion sold just this afternoon!
Another new NEST banner and digital tags.
Heather has decided to sell one of her favorite vintage chairs. Very reluctantly I might add!

At home, I finally made my very first ever slipcover. On a very small scale. But hey, you have to start somewhere!
I hung a swing arm wall lamp above my sewing machine and made a little slip to go over the shade. Very easy and a good beginners project because the shade was just a cylinder shape.
It just ties in the back. I’m still looking for some vintage trim to add to the top. Gotta find the perfect one you know!
Now I need to spray paint my little work box.
I actually made this little heart pillow to sell. It’ll make its way to the Rink eventually!
I’ve been sewing so much lately that I finally had to reorganize my fabric and put most of it together where I could find it. I ended up finding remnants that I didn’t even know I had. And I can see that I need to shop for more neutrals.
WHEW! I think I’ll stop here! I have tons and tons of other stuff to show you, but what would be the fun if I put it all in one post!
Have a wonderful weekend.
Denise
