Living Room Reveal

It’s finally finished!  For now.   As women, you know that we always reserve the right to change things at any time.  However, I have to say that I really love the way my living room looks.

Joining Debra at Common Ground for another Vintage Inspired Friday!  Please stop by and visit all of the other beautiful blogs who are participating.

Lots of pics. to follow.

014

That dreaded wet bar from the 70’s.  It’s what really started it all.  When I realized how much I adored the Robins Egg Blue that I painted the cabinet.015

The Ruby glass went bye bye and I moved most of my milk glass collection in here.

Urn on the fireplace.  I wish I had some of the little baby boo pumpkins to go in here.  It needs something else.

I wouldn’t call this a fireplace mantle.  It’s more like a shelf.  Still contemplating painting the mirror frame.

It’s his season to shine!

Hung these choc. brown drapes on the windows.  More to come on these later.  Another bargain story!

She still reigns supreme.

Of course my fav. chair.

Hung new pics. above my painted chest.

Love the splash of bright color that the art provides.

056

Found a temporary solution to my sofa cushion problem.  I wrapped a down filled comforter around the cushions.

055

Miss A beyond loooves it……

This is my all time best ACTUAL dumpster find.  I think I’ve finally worn Hubby totally down.  When I said I wanted to move this door in the house all he said is “where do you want it.”  Poor guy.

More art work.

Newly painted chair and a few white linens.

On the coffee table.

Over view.

Cream, chocolate brown, blue.  Lovin’ it!

  1. Well...I LOVE the unusual characteristics of your living room. The surprise elements. It isn't the usual hum drum thing you see in nearly every living room and it is something I would like to accomplish while others want to be like someone else. FANTASTIC! It isn't FAR OUT there but just enough to make you want to come back and look again...and again.
Wonderful job!! I would change nary a thing! Perfect to me!
