Bella Sews (again)

Bella’s Mom…..that would be Heather, has been super busy lately decorating for one of our favorite customers.

New home, new decor.  Fun fun FUN!

IMAG0076

A little Christmas decor in her cute little niche.

IMAG0079

A cute hutch that Heather painted for her previous home, decorated for the Holidays.

IMAG0075

The bedroom…..all new decor.  Khakis, smoky blues, and cream cotton laces.

Bella did some of the sewing for this room.  Well…..she called on her DeeDee and DeeDee’s friend Barb.  to help.  I have to say, we had tons of fun sewing for this room…….

IMAG0071

Beautiful pillow at the end of the bed.  The center fabric was ordered from Ballard’s and is gorgeous.  The cream is sheered cotton lace.

IMAG0072

Yummy chocolate brown washed linen on the back.

IMAG0073

A double ruffle on each end.   The two 27” Euros on the bed are the same yummy fabric as the ends of the body pillow.  All other pillows in the room were purchased by the home owner.

The burlap dust ruffle is also from Ballard’s.  It’s a great bargain at $50.00 but we didn’t like the burlap trim, so I cut that off and used more of the cream cotton lace to trim it out.  Unfortunately, it doesn’t quite fit her sleigh bed, so we have a little more tweaking to do.

IMAG0073

The khaki colored panels were purchased at Tuesday Morning for under $20.00 each.  We added an inverted pleat trim, again in the cream cotton lace.  The under drape is also the cotton lace.  Just simple flat panels.  Both treatments were clipped on to the double rod.

IMAG0075

This super cute chair was purchased at the Rink for little to nothing!   What’s little to nothing?  Would you believe $35.00?!   The finish was perfectly shabby and worn so Heather just plopped a pillow in the seat.IMAG0074

Here’s the chest in the bedroom.  Sorry for the quality of the pictures.  Heather took them with her phone after dark.  Even photo shop just couldn’t get them quite right.  :)

I love LOVE this bedroom!  It has a calm serene feel without being boring.  Just the perfect amount of color and wonderful textures.  Not quite finished, but there can’t be that much more to do.  It’s looking beautiful to me.

Thank you Melissa for letting us take a short tour of your new home.  Can’t wait to see more at a later date!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful week!

Denise

  11. LOVE that blue color! Hope you have a wonderful weekend. Hubby has come to Oklahoma a lot for one day trips & each time I hear he is going I think... Oh I want to go up there for a few days to visit with my buddies in OKC. Maybe after the first of the year. But, since he has his new guy riding with him he really doesn't have room for a wife that wants to lunch & shop. Charlene
