Chair update

After a couple of years, this is still my all time favorite piece of furniture ever.  I gave my sweet little chair an update this weekend.

Her cushion just seemed to need a little something.

So I disassembled the cushion and added this ruffle.  I’m still hoping those wrinkles will fall out.  May have to steam it though! Smile

I’ve been doing a LOT of sewing lately!  And wait till you see what Heather’s been painting.  Lets just say…….Chevron!

    I can see why this is a favorite! I'm loving that ruffle! Perfect touch. Glad to see someone else is afflicted with the need to take things apart and remake them! :)

    OMG, Denise! I LOVE that chair! Wherever did you find it? Now that I live in an area with antique malls, I will be keeping my eye out. I would love something like this in our master bedroom. Love the ruffle you added to the cushion and I love your toss pillow, too! You've reminded me that I made a pillow with hearts out of a similar fabric and I wanted to do something to the backside of it so I can just turn it around after Valentine's Day.

    I've been sewing and creating for several days myself. It must be the time of year for sewing! Can't wait to see what you've both been up to.
