I do love Pinterest! Which is fairly obvious if you follow our boards. We pin A LOT! And it pays off. In ideas and inspiration. And most recently in the PERFECT curtains for my dining room.
When I pinned these curtains from Jenny Holiday's Pinterest site, it was love at first sight!
A touch of vintage, and the perfect colors. You can find them at World Market. After a (very) short consultation with my decorator, Miss Heather, we ordered them. I still had my doubts, but boy oh boy was I happy that I listened to my daughter!
They’re perfect. And yes…..hammers are all the rage in dining table décor. You hadn’t heard?
I thought that I would probably need to paint those rings, but they actually look great with the other touches of wood tone. Like my quirky sconces!
They even match my vintage scale!
The fabric on my lamp shade looks like it was made to match!
Now if I could just make a decision regarding the paint for the walls, all would be perfect in this room.
Thanks Heather, for coming over today and hanging my new curtains!
Have a happy week, everyone!
Denise
Those curtains were a lovely, airy choice for that nook. Just your style, too! I like the femininity and vintagy pattern.

Oh...I love those curtains. I've never looked at curtains on the World Market site...I sure will now. I've heard a rumor that we are getting a Homegoods in Norman by the Super Target. One of my co-workers that lives in Norman told me. Have you heard this?
ReplyDeleteThey are very pretty, Denise! I love that picture with your lampshade in the foreground. It does look like it works perfectly with them.
ReplyDeleteLove the curtains...esp. against that wood wall

Loving your new curtains, they fit in perfectly!
ReplyDeleteI must agree, Denise. These curtains are lovable! I’m so glad that you pinned those picture from Jenny and shared them with us. Actually, I’m fond, so fond of vintage-like materials and products for our window treatments. I always believe that it can add elegance to every room.
