Junk Hippy Roadshow-Houston

Thank you Texas!  We had a wonderful show this last weekend in the Houston area.  Here are a few pictures of our booth.

For the first time ever, we’re trying our hand at upholstery.  This sofa did not sell.  No surprise there though, it’s not for everyone and neither is the price.

This is a very old Victorian sofa.  In fact, it still had most of its original horse hair intact.  I LOVE it! 

Below is our nature/bird themed furniture and accessories.

Coffee table turned bench with mercury glass knobs.  Pillow to match this set in left background on bench.  Both sold for a little girls room.

Tall bird chest.  This piece is still available.

Owl chest with owl knobs.  Also sold for a little girls room.

Pair of cute end tables.  Sold

I didn’t get a good picture of the full size vintage bed, but it sold with the bird bench.  Heather and I both love this kids table and two chairs.  It’s still available. 

Glittered deer signs were a great seller.  We sold all but one.

Chair and sign sold.  Chest still available.

This cute chair is still available.  The home signs with Texas as the “O” sold out.  the small table and pillow are also gone.

this armoire was very popular with just about everyone and found a new home.

Chest…..still available.  This picture was taken before we put the knobs on.  There’s a better view of one of our Texas home signs.  And you can also see the lamp shade peeking over the top.  It also went to a new home.

So….that’s just a small sampling of what we had this last weekend.  It was a LOT of hard work, but we also had a wonderful visit with family in Houston. 

Our next show will be Tulsa, Oklahoma in September.  Expect to see lots of wonderful Fall décor with some Halloween thrown in and many more small items for sale.
