I’ve been in full fledged floral mode around here! This week I created not one, but two fall wreaths. One for me and one for Heather. I honestly can not decide which one I like the best.
We made trips all over the place for our supplies. Dollar Tree, Michaels, and H.L. We found goodies at all three stores.
Like these pretty floral picks in perfect fall colors. The yellow flowers came from Dollar Tree and actually were even prettier than I expected.
Picks with acorns and berries-Hobby Lobby. The orange and brown paper leaves came from Dollar Tree. We bought two single Hydrangea stems and I cut those into pieces and used one each in our wreaths.
I used the brown paper leaves as a pattern and cut tons of book page leaves for my second wreath. A great way to save some money! The glittered silver leaves are from Michaels, the glittered baby corn is from H.L. and yes, both wreaths have this years favorite pumpkins, from H.L.
I tried to create a focal point for each wreath. A chalk board for this one…..
And a cute ceramic owl plate for this one. We found him in the 60% off aisle at Michaels.
So you choose…..which one is your favorite?
The more colorful fall wreath with the yellow owl……
Or the more subtle, or at least I Started with the intention of subtlety…..wreath with the book page leaves? I was just sure that this one was my favorite. Until I saw the photos!
Joining……
Hope to see you there!
Denise
Gosh, I'm not sure which one is my favorite either. I like them both. The one with the book page leaves is cute because it's so different.
ReplyDeleteThey look great...love the chalkboard, burlap...actually love all of it. Love the job you did :-)
