I’m slowly making changes around the house. Hoping that cooler weather won’t be far behind!
This is my kitchen window. The plant window seemed like a great idea years ago. Unfortunately, plants get too hot during the summer, and too cold during winter so I’m constantly looking for alternative seasonal vignettes for this area. Those are my Nanny’s old bowls. This is the first time I’ve had them out since I’ve had them. They look very “farm house” don’t you think.
I found some decent looking faux pumpkins at H.L. last week.
I’m enjoying my new vase (far left) that I purchased at OKC’s great new vintage mall. You can read about it HERE.
That little pumpkin in front…..if they have any left at Hobby Lobby, they’re a great price and look like the more expensive versions.
Can pumpkins and bird eggs live together in harmony? They are on my dining table
Have a happy Friday!

Looking good and cozy, Denise. I like the greenery on the scale and the little nest the most. :)

Very pretty, Denise! I love the variety of textures you have mixed in. Those pumpkins are great. I saw them at Hobby Lobby this week. I picked up two of the orange ones on picks to use in my front door urn. I have to get my Fall stuff down from the attic this coming week and get my decorating going. Today is supposed to be beautifully cool after several days of heat and humidity.
ReplyDeleteI have been unwilling to admit that it is time for Fall, although it is my favourite season I just am not ready! I will probably feel differently after a trip to the farm this weekend...all those fresh apples will make me feel fallish! Have a great weekend.
