Needing a Little Help

I’m needing just a little help this evening. 

Heather works part time for The Bethel Foundation.  They are a non-profit organization for single Mother’s in need of assistance.

They have an educational conference coming up very soon for the single Mom’s and have a need for something very simple.

Tea cups and saucers.

They are making little gifts for each Mom who attend and need these as part of the gift.  If you have any that you were maybe thinking of getting rid of, and live in the OKC area, please e-mail me and I will get with Heather and arrange to get them from you. 

Also, if you happen to own a business or work some place where you are able to donate, they are looking for little door prizes such as gift certificates or maybe something that you have an excess of or that would be suitable as part of a gift basket.

    Great idea! I bought 40 mugs that I donated to the Phillipino women's embassy shelter here. The organizer of Trash to Treasures is leading a 6 weeks course there based on the principles of Stephen Covey's book "The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People" and she wanted the ladies to have a proper mug for coffee or tea; not just a styrofoam cup that could create waste. So nice to do something special for those on hard times. Wishing you a beautiful day. Tammy

    Oh, I bet you'll get a good response locally...teacups and saucers are usually abundant at the thrift stores.
