Pillows…….It’s all about the details!

I am DONE, FINISHED, I QUIT!  Sewing, that is.  This weekend is the Affair Of The Heart and I have been trying to accumulate enough inventory for the show.  When do you really know if you have “enough”?  Heck if I know!  If it’s when your back hurts so badly you can hardly stand, you think if you sew another stitch you’ll scream, or you’ve sewn through the side of your finger twice, (same finger, both sides) yep….that took some talent.  If it’s any of those then it’s time to call it quits.

Ha!  What do you think?    On a side note….I try and envision my work as it will relate to Heather and Ms. R’s painted furniture.  Everything displays much prettier that way.  So even otherwise traditional fabrics get a whimsical treatment of some kind.  No plain Jane’s in this bunch!  And each pillow is either corded or ruffled or sometimes both.  Here they are……lots of pics.!

Vintage crocheted flower basket on the second one.  I’ve been hoarding that piece for a couple of years!  I finally found the perfect way to use it.

Now I’ve gotta go find out what happened to the rest of my photos.  it looks like there are quite a few missing.

We hope to see you at The Affair Of The Heart this weekend if you are anywhere near OKC.  We will be in the Made In Oklahoma building in the front hall.  Pretty much right in the center.  Our booth is 20x40.  You won’t be able to miss us!  The girls have painted TONS and TONS of cute furniture and signs.  And we hope we will have some new accessories also.
