I’m ready for those autumn oranges, gold, and brown. How about you? Oohhh…..and some pretty cream colored pumpkins! A little too early, but time to change things up a bit.
When Hubby was cleaning some old wood out of the back yard, I laid claim to an old 2x8. It had been part of our deck for years and was worn to perfection. I knew I could do something with it. So I dry brushed A.S. Old White chalk paint here and there to give it a little more worn “perfection.”
Then it made its way to my dining room table. Welcome…..almost fall!
Creams, browns, and burlap, oh my!
Last years burlap runner looked perfect underneath my “plank” center piece.
Burlap garland woven here and there.
Add a few nests and dried hydrangeas….
Two little owls……
Chalk painted chairs and settee with drop cloth slips….
Assorted burlap and farmhouse style pillows…..
Iron stone and Brown transfer ware (all from my collection)…..
And I have myself the perfect (no cost) Summer to Fall table scape!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Denise

Very pretty, Denise! I have white, cream and brown in our dining area.
ReplyDeleteI am no where near ready to think about fall decorating. I never really feel like it till October. But...I have to say that your table looks soooo pretty! I love the subtle color palette. love the cream and brown...love that plank over the burlap. Maybe I will start thinking about fall...after all.
ReplyDeleteI love what you've put together on your table. I'm a huge fan of neutrals with texture and you put together a pleasing mix. I love the settee at your table with the interesting pillows too.
ReplyDeleteEvening Denise, your end of summer dining scape is gorgeous! I think it would look fabulous for Autumn too....just add your fall touch! I believe we are kindred spirits with what we love! Blessings and a wonderful week~~~Roxie
