My Autumn Mantel

I restyled my tiny mantel yesterday.  It’s actually more of a shelf, but it’s the perfect size for the living room fireplace.

My mirror is painted A.S. Paris gray.  My little urn is A.S. duck egg blue.  The little wood box is painted my favorite new yellow  and I’m loving the way it all blends with my autumn oranges and browns.  My little angel pretty much stays right where she is year round.  She’s one of my favorite accessories.

I pulled my shoe form out of storage and retrieved a couple of plates from the dining cabinet.

MANTEL6

A candle with a botanical theme, a little pup with perfect autumn orange detail, and another one of my Dollar Tree white pumpkins that I can’t seem to get enough of.  Throw in a couple of vintage books, and this tiny mantel is as packed full as I can get it.

I needed a little something more, so I made this easy peasy autumn banner out of old book pages and changed my botanical print  to more appropriate autumn colors.

And that’s it for this mantel.  It is welcoming the official beginning of fall today!
